What to tell us when you call
- Call 08 8410 3333. It’s the same number day or night.
- Tell us where you are and what’s happened. Give us the suburb and which door it is. Tell us if anyone’s stuck inside, or if the place can’t be locked.
- We send a qualified locksmith. If it can wait until the morning, we’ll say so and book a time.
While you wait
- Wait somewhere safe and well lit. Keep your phone on so the locksmith can ring when they’re close.
- Don’t force or drill the lock yourself. A lock we could have opened becomes a lock you have to replace.
After a break-in
First we get the door or window locking again so the place is secure tonight. Then count the keys. If any were taken, or you can’t account for them all, we rekey or change the locks so the old keys stop working.
If they came in through a side door or a window, we’ll tell you what we’d fit there. Usually that’s a deadbolt, a window lock or a stronger cylinder.
Nights and weekends
The Broadview workshop is open Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm. We still run call-outs from 5pm weekdays and 24/7 on weekends. Ring 08 8410 3333 after hours.
